Side Story > Resteraunts in Calcutta, India .... The City of Joy

Calcutta (Kolkata), India is a place know for great food. From street-side "Puchkas", to hi-fi "Daab Chingri" the food is unique. Here, I had the opportunity to have some great food, at some amazing restaurants.

Mainland China is an amazing restaurant, and gives the "Chinese Foodie" everything they desire. With exceptional service, and food that will make your taste buds go wild, Mainland China is no doubt one of Kolkata's finest restaurants. (4 star)

> Ambiance - 4.5
> Range - Chinese (with continental desserts)
> Value for Money - 3 - Yes or No, depending on budget.

All in all, a great restaurant.

Bar-B-Q Flavours of China - * * * *

At Bar-B-Q - Flavours of China, you will be able to enjoy great Chinese food, as well as a great environment. With a view of Calcutta's Park Street, enjoy amazing Chinese food. Great service, and great food are only a couple of things the Bar-B-Q offers to you. (4 star)

> Ambiance - 4.5 (with a great view of Park Street)
> Range - Chinese (with continental desserts)
> Value for Money - 4 - Yes.

All in all a fine place to dine.

Oh!Calcutta - * * * *

Oh! Calcutta is a place for traditional "Bangla Khabar" with uniqueness all the same. With great food, as well as service, Oh! Calcutta is amazing. (4.5 star)

> Range - Indian (Bengali)
> Value for Money - 3 - Yes or no depending on budget

All in all, one of Kolkata's finest restaurants.

(Tip: Order the "Daab Chingri" or "Bhetkir Paturi")

I love "daab chingri" I went to Calcutta for a business trip, and ate at Oh!Calcutta. I thought it was marvelous, and the "bhetkir paturi" was fantastic! You are a true critic at work. Amazing!
